Market Analysis, product design and business devopment assisitance in eHealth, telematics and wireless connectivity

Bluetooth is the most successful of the short range wireless standards that operate in the 2.4GHz band, with over 1 billion devices shipping every year.
This year will see the standard expand into new fields. Of these the most important are health and medical devices, with the introduction of the Health Device Profile. Later in the year that will be supplemented with low power and Internet connected devices, as the new Bluetooth low energy standard is finalised.
We are also likely to see the release of new standards that use Bluetooth to control an ad-hoc 802.11 and UWB link, providing much greater throughput, and in the case of UWB, extremely low power transfer of very large files.
We have been involved in Bluetooth development since its inception and continue to play an active part in writing and promoting the Bluetooth standard. Whatever your Bluetooth needs, we can provide advice on the technology roadmap, implementation options, qualification and interoperability.
If you want to take advantage of the massive installed base of Bluetooth devices, or take the lead in using the latest Bluetooth features and standard, please contact WiFore.
